About Wee Massage
Robbin Schwartz is a licensed massage therapist and is certified in infant massage by the International Loving Touch Foundation.
She has been teaching the WeeMassage program since 1998, and brings to her classes a warm, playful spirit, and a dedication to helping parents and caregivers bond with their babies. Her classes bring together the therapeutic effects of both massage and the singing voice, to create an environment of calm, so important for the young child. She works out of a profound respect for the wisdom of each child's developmental process, and the time needed to observe that process and respond to it. Parents and other caregivers feel supported and empowered in their own work with their babies ‐‐ everyone benefits!
Robbin's work in the classroom is informed by her training, completed in July 2013, in working with families with children from birth to three years of age, at Sophia's Hearth Family Center, in NH. In 2008, she completed her master's degree in Waldorf education, and has been a parent‐toddler teacher at the Brooklyn Waldorf school since 2006. She also taught in the Music Together program for 11 years in NYC.
